


Frank Wosar holds a Masters degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami. He played solo chair in the Grammy Award winning jazz band the CJB (concert jazz band) at UM all four years that he attended. He has been awarded the Down Beat Award for outstanding jazz solo four times and two times by the International Association for Jazz Education.
Currently he is the adjunct Jazz Trombone Professor, and the Director of Jazz Bands at Valencia College. His two companies, Long White Cloud Entertainment, and Brown Bag Brass Band (co-owner) can be seen performing all over this great state.
Frank has had the privilege to have played with The Supremes, Hootie and the Blow Fish, John Michael Montgomery, Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Willie Chirino, Ray Ruiz salsa Orchestra, Paul Anka, Jim Belushi, Jim Widner Big Band, John Fedchock Big Band, Ed Calle Big Band, Arturo Sandavol, Duffy Jackson Big Band, Sam Rivers, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Glenn Miller Orchestra and many more.
For the last seven years he has been the lead/solo trombonist for The One and Only Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and is the lead trombonist for the Dr. Phillips Jazz Orchestra.
